Sombre Update: “Homecoming” Show Cancellation

Following the tragically devastating fire in Tai Po this week, Hong Kong is in a collective state of deep grief and mourning .  With heavy regret, we announce the cancellation of Karen Mok’s Kai Tak concert, THE BIG BIG SHOW Hong Kong “Homecoming” Limited Edition originally scheduled on 20th December 20205.

Karen’s heartfelt wish was to return ‘home” to share her music and joyful time with everyone. However, in light of the pain and loss, “Homecoming” has taken on a more profound significance.  As such, it would not be appropriate to hold a performance to celebrate happiness during this sombre time.

We sincerely apologize for this cancellation and thank all fans for understanding and support. At this moment, our thoughts and attention should focus on those affected and the frontline rescue teams. Karen hopes to reunite with everyone in the future under better circumstances.

We pay the highest tribute and respect to the firefighters and rescue teams who have worked tirelessly.  We stand united with all Hong Kong citizens in offering our deepest condolences to the families impacted by the Tai Po fire. We pray for peace for those who lost their lives and a speedy recovery for the injured.

For ticket holders, please follow official announcements from the organizers. All ticketing platforms will automatically process refunds.  Therefore, no further action will be required. Refunds will be returned to the original payment account (Damai, Funtasyisland, Ctrip, and Trip.com within 7–15 working days; HK Ticketing within 45 working days).
