Since her explosive debut in 1993, Karen Mok has been a cornerstone of the Asian entertainment industry, captivating audiences for over three decades. Born in Hong Kong in 1970, Karen boasts a rich mixed heritage. She quickly rose to stardom with the multi-platinum albums 全身莫文蔚  (Karen Mok In Totality) and To Be, and timeless anthems such as 陰天 (Cloudy) and 忽然之間 (Suddenly) that resonate across generations.

A natural-born performer, Karen has dazzled audiences with over 130 concerts across four continents and 58 cities. Notably, on June 15 2024, she became the first female pop artist to hold a solo concert at Beijing's landmark Olympic Stadium (the "Bird’s Nest"), selling out the 60,000-seat venue within hours of ticket release.

In addition to her musical achievements, Karen has showcased her chameleon acting prowess in over 50 films, frequently collaborating with renowned director Stephen Chow in box-office hits like Shaolin Soccer and The God of Cookery, and has worked alongside Hollywood superstars like Keanu Reeves and Jackie Chan.

She has also starred in critically acclaimed art-house films, such as The Great Hypnotist and Wong Kar-Wai's Fallen Angels which earned her Best Supporting Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Throughout her prolific career, Karen has achieved numerous milestones and industry firsts - the first female artist from Hong Kong to win a Golden Melody Award recognised as the Chinese music industry’s equivalent to the Grammy Award, the first Asian artist to have a global album release on iTunes, the first Chinese pop singer to perform solo concerts in Milan and Madrid, and the first Asian artist in the lead role in a Broadway production, Rent. Additionally, Karen holds the Guinness World Record for the highest altitude mass-attended music concert with her concert in Lhasa in 2019.

Celebrating her 30th anniversary in entertainment, a commemorative exhibition “The Reign of MOKnificence” toured Hong Kong, Beijing, Taipei, Shanghai and Chengdu. Kicking off in mid 2024, Karen staged a captivating year-long tour “The Big Big Show” with large-scale stadium shows in major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Shenzhen.
